Paris Saint-Germain star in advanced negotiations with Barcelona

Barcelona are once again active in the transfer market, identifying promising names to reinforce their squad under new manager Hansi Flick. With the team aiming to refresh its attacking options, the club is exploring players who can add both depth and flair to the frontline.
Luis Enrique’s Paris Saint-Germain has seen a shift in its attacking hierarchy in recent months, especially since the arrivals of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in January and the rising form of Désiré Doué and Ousmane Dembélé. These three have become the go-to attacking trio, leaving less room for other talents.
This change has affected one of the club’s brightest young stars, who despite an impressive record of 18 goals and 17 assists across all competitions, has found himself relegated to a secondary role. The player, who is still only 22 years old, is reportedly considering an exit if his situation does not improve soon. His agent, Jorge Mendes, is already in talks with several top European clubs.
Among those interested is FC Barcelona. Mendes has reportedly spoken directly to Joan Laporta and Deco about a possible move to La Liga. The Catalan side sees the young Frenchman as a strong candidate to strengthen their attack and offer solid backup or competition for Raphinha. Early contact has already been made.
However, PSG is not expected to let him leave easily. The club invested €45 million in him at the time of his signing, and they are now reportedly seeking at least €80 million for any transfer deal.
