Barcelona offers Manchester United a perfect swap deal

Rashford is set to return to Manchester United after Aston Villa decided not to exercise their £40 million (€47 million/$54 million) option to sign him permanently, and there is also no future for the England striker at Old Trafford, as Ruben Amorim will not bring him back into the first team.
Shortly after Rashford joined Aston Villa, TeamTalk revealed that he was ultimately looking to sign for Barcelona in the future.
Rashford’s big-money move to Barcelona could be a success this summer. Dwayne Maynard, Rashford’s agent and brother, was photographed meeting with Barcelona’s sporting director, Deco, at a hotel in Spain last week.
The main problem for Barcelona is that they will struggle to meet the English club’s asking price of £40 million unless they sell at least one important player.
According to reports coming from Spain, Barcelona may send Ter Stegen to United and get Rashford in return.
Barcelona appear happy to be offloading the German goalkeeper, having reached an agreement in principle with Espanyol’s Juan Garcia to replace him.
The report explains how United could seize the opportunity to sign Ter Stegen as they search for a goalkeeper to replace the unreliable Andre Onana.
Ter Stegen appears to be “open” to a “change of scenery” by joining United as he “feels like he’s being pushed towards the exit door” by Barcelona.
