Barcelona completes the first sale operation in the summer transfer window

According to Sport, Italian club Como has decided to activate the €6 million buyout clause included in Alex Valle’s loan deal with Barcelona. This will see the young left-back join the Italian club permanently and leave the club.
Alex Vale was on loan for the fourth consecutive season, with his contract with Barcelona set to expire in June 2026. As a result, all parties reached an agreement to complete the transfer.
Valle joined the Lombard club in the January transfer window and quickly established himself in Cesc Fabregas’ starting lineup.
The player’s hope was that he would one day return to Barcelona and earn a place in the first team. However, this season has seen Gerard Martin, in addition to bolstering Alejandro Balde’s position, live up to expectations when he had to step in for his teammate when he was injured.
Barcelona is expected to announce the departure of several players over the summer transfer window, with the most prominent candidates to leave including Iñaki Peña, Ronald Araujo, Hector Fort, Pau Victor, and Christensen.
