Barca fans identify the worst player against Dortmund and demand his departure
Barcelona qualified for the Champions League semi-finals for the first time in six years, but it was a bittersweet experience as they lost 3-1 to Borussia Dortmund in the second leg, breaking their unbeaten streak in 2025.
The team appeared in a completely different state than what fans had seen in previous matches, as the attacking players excelled at wasting easy opportunities, especially in the first half.
But if there was one player who stood out as the worst in the match, it would be Ronald Araujo, who caused the third goal and had a below-average game.
Hansi Flick opted to rest Iñigo MartÃnez against Dortmund for fear that he would receive a yellow card that would have kept him out of the semi-final. Araujo replaced him from the start of the match until the end.
Through their accounts on X, Barcelona fans attacked Ronald Araujo, demanding his sale, and even describing him as the worst defender in the world.
